On a snowy day, if you just drove it, condensation will be underneath the cover, and water from the weight of the snow. And on a windy day, the car cover will either blown from the car, or leave scratches when the cover is moving back and forth. It is better to have a car cover than no car cover, but if you have an option of garaging it better that than leave it out. Luckily, my Z sleeps inside and I used to have a car cover for a 4runner until I got a beater.

Snow and the Z
I just got caught in the Snow for my 1st time in my new Z roadster. The slip function and ABS worked great. Was going 65 or so on freeway with no problem. But when getting off at my exit, might have been going too fast, and caught a slippery spot. The tail started to go out, and I had to get out of that slide. Pulled out of it, and said to myself. Put the baby in the garage and forget about it until spring, or a good winter day with sun that I can put the top down.
