If my car doesn't go in for warranty work this weekend, I'll be able to get some day shots.

Warning Fanboi moment: Let me just say, it's been a pleasure working with Mastergrade/FWD and Jim. My poor ZR has spent more time down for work than not. They have both been understanding of my schedule and my opinions. They are truly an asset to the Z community and I look forward to anything else they introduce. /Fanboi Moment.

Thanks Ceo and Eagle, I really do appreciate it. The hood is light enough to put on by yourself. It just takes patients and a little bit of finesse. At first, I was not a fan of the hood at all, but it really grew on me. Plus, with the Vegas heat, I can see how effective the vents are at a stop, although I have no actual proof how effective it is during a drive.

The Fitment is great. I had an original Venom Hood from the previous owners of Mastergrade, and there were gaps on both sides, but it looked fine. Now, with the new owners and their redesign, this Hood looks great. Also, I love how sturdy the hood is. With the design, it holds its form and doesn't bend like some other CF hoods I've seen when on hood props. Also, you can actually feel a weight savings on the hood. Given time, I'll go weigh an OEM and this hood. Hopefully this weekend.

Ghost, thanks for the opinion. I know my car won't be liked by everyone and I can understand that. Half my car is currently one off parts, but the thing that matters the most to me is that it is being used to help the ZR community. It's different, and it's grown on me. I love knowing only 3 or 4 ZRs in the country resemble mine. It gives it more personality and 'spunk'.

i think this cf stuff has gone way too far, i'm not feeling it. it seems like people just throw it wherever they possibly can, and expect the look to come together. it just didnt happen here. sorry

If I ever get around to it, I'll be going with a Nismo Body Kit (Sides and Rear) with an aerosync front bumper. I think it's a really clean look and I like it, unforunately I have to direct funds elsewhere right now, so it'll be a while before I get to it. I'd rather get my ZR out to a few track events before I worry about adding more aesthetics.

As far as drop is concerned, I really don't want to. I have some intercooler piping in the front which is the lowest point on my car, and at stock height, it rubs occasionally. A drop would cause damage. That's unfortunately something I am not willing to risk.

As far as the wheels. They are probably going to be seen as a my350z sin. MB Motoring Drifters, 18*9.5 all around. Litterally the cheapest rim I could find in a size that would suit me. Due to personal reasons and timing, when I had 3/5 OEM rims crack on me, I needed to do something about it, and at $97 a pop, they looked F'in great.

As far as the whole CF thing, I was NEVER a fan of it. However, the two tone on my ZR has really grown on me. Looking at pre CF pics, my car just looked bland. The CF just adds an import feel (Ricer blah whatever) and really allows my car to stand out. I love PPW, but I really think there was just too much of it. I feel I took some of the original elegance out of my ZR with as much CF is on there, but I added personality and defined my car as out of the norm. That makes me happy.

If you hate my car, I understand, and I appreciate your honesty. You can't please everyone. I'm happy and in the end, that's all that matters.

-S

Looks sick, +1 on getting the Nismo pieces. Are you going to change up the wheels at all?

I'll get around to it. Just not one of my priorities right now. Down the line, Weds SA70s or Enkei GTC-01/RPF1.
