This past weekend I decided to polish the lip from my 19inch Volk te37. It was a PITA doing it, but I did it. First I try masking the area I didn't want paint to be remove, but the chemical ate threw the tape and took off paint where I didn't want it to. After several hours of sanding, I finally got it all smooth and ready to polish. After buffing and polishing, I have to mask off the lip so I can paint the center. I painted the center a little darker then what it was before. over all I think it came out good. I'm going to redo everything all over again in the near future with the tire being off so I could get every little spot I miss. what you guys think.

I was trying to trade it for a another set of rims that have a polish lip. I just didnt have the patien to wait for and offer and decided to polish the lip of the rim that i already have. Once i start stripping the paint off my rim i had 3 offer for a trade and to buy. i guess its OK. i got what i wanted.
