Haha. No time soon, Erwin.

I've still got a LONG way ahead of me!

As for the 70-200 2.8 IS, not yet. I decided to invest in a good tripod before I make the jump to an L glass. What good is it to me if I have a POS tripod that won't support it?

What about you? You're looking into the 70-200 4 IS, right?

Hehe, post processing one pictures takes a lot less time than post processing 50+.

$1G for glass... before that... I need to outfit my 430ex and 580exII with stands and umbrellas. Need to enhance some old shoots with light... like the sunset shots I attempted a lot of. It's like... ok, now I need a flash... you buy the flash, then you find out you need the $80 off camera cord which I got. Now I need goddamn stands, brackets, and umbrellas. It never ends

Shoot, a good tripod is $200 with $100 ball head. It's all you need. 055xbpro Manfrotto with RCII head? That's what my next tripod is going to be. Again, it never ends.

And you are a pro... if you're charging $ for photography work, by definition, you're a pro.

Great work, I love those SF winnings. Can't wait to see the finish pictures.

It'll never end until I give the damn hobby up, you're right. But as long as I stick with it, there will always be something else I want/need.

I plan on going with the 055XPROB legs and 488RC2 ball head, but I'm waiting to test out a friend's setup before I commit. To me, a $300 tripod setup is a big commitment. It's a very common setup, but if it works then it works. Like I said, I'd like to try it out before I make the plunge.

Heh, I knew you'd bring the official definition of "pro" up. Well, I've gotta be the worst professional photog there is then.
