the exterior of leemik's car is complemented by amazing photography skills..
his car looks great, but its the best looking Nismo Redline with Time Attacks i have ever seen.. why? because he is that damn good with a camera..
i am not taking anything away from his car.. because his car is more amazing inside than outside based on his innovation and DYI work

Not at all.... Your 1-10 is to easy... I have high standards. Its like rating a girl out of ten... There aren't that many. Also it is the car in general when I give it a rating, the Z is a great car indeed, but lacks the overall exotic appeal.

I agree that from all cars in general even the best z's shouldn't be a 10. However, out of all 350Zs, which is what I think this thread should be about, mike lee's, brian's and alvin's do deserve 10s when being rated. Obviously for example a lamborghini lp640 next to a Z will make the Z be a 5 and the lambo a 10.

My rating scale for what it's worth
1- A wrecked Z. Possibly a Z that has run over a class of school children then caught on fire, then smashed into a brick wall. It possibly had e bay parts all over it in the first place.
2 - Beyond salvation. It's been modified so far in the wrong direction that it's not worth saving. You'd be better off to sell it and start over, that is if anyone would ever take it off your hands.
3 - A butchered mess of a Z. No rhyme or reason has gone into selecting aftermarket parts except for the fact that the owner felt like doing something and got his hands on what was cheapest.
4 - A poorly maintained Stock Z that looks like crap. It's wheels are curb rashed, it's paint is swirly. This owner generally knows nothing about the car they are driving. They take it through the automatic car wash and don't give a ****.
5 - Nice clean well kept stock Z.
6 - Still a clean Z, mostly stock, but the owner has added a few personal touches which start to set it off. The road to being a Z enthusiast is underway.
7. The owner has carefully selected a handful of upscale or tasteful parts to separate their Z from the stock crowd.
8. On it's way to being a Z worthy of admiration from the rest of the Z community.
9. All you could really expect from a street driven Z. There may be a couple small details here and there that aren't perfect, but this car has been modified with purpose and vision since day 1.
10. Flawless. Almost unattainable. This Z practically has everything done to it that could ever really be expected to be done, and it has been done well with attention to detail. The key here is innovation, and as said before, trend setting.

I have to be honest, but I completely agree with D350Z10 with members being a bit loose on their ratings. It is great to give someone props, but I think it takes away from cars that are truly perfect.
A 10 to me would be a perfect car. Before this becomes a discussion on that, I have to say that I really enjoy reading about and seeing Mike's car, Chestebo's, Andy's and Nitrouz's cars the most. I mean aside from their cars really having some of the most work done to them, they are all unique and pioneers when it comes to new parts.
I am sorry, and I am also a victim of this (My old body kit but my new one I don't think anyone has yet) but most of those other cars have things that have been done time and time again. V2 bumper, Nismo Sides, TE37 TA's or just stuff we have seen time and time again. I am in no way saying it is ugly, but a car being rated a 10 should get that based on perfection and originality.
