not that i am involved in street racing, however i think everyone likes to have a little fun here and there, sadly cops like to label any speeding involving a nice car "street racing". it's pretty jacked up to steal someone's car like that. take their license or something, but theft is just wrong.......and people can call it what they want to, stealing is stealing no matter who does it.
with that being said, i makes me want to figure out a "magic button" that i can press before the cops take the car that will throw the timing off so bad that it blows the engine up or better yet, 1 hour and it lights on fire! if i can't have it, nobody can.

Why would you want to make that public knowledge ??
What a waste of time and money. I'm sure the car will run well, esp when they start filling it up with 87 octane

I believe that may be due to some state's laws regarding entrapment.
I see these car both parked together in my police academy everyday.. First I thought these were some LEO's 'overtime' cars but I just found out they are undercover patrol car.. I will take some pics and post here..
I hate street racing, and whoever owned those vehicles should have been punished when caught. But, I still feel like the seizure of those vehicles is just "legalized" theft by the local government. I'm sure a good lawyer could have ensured the owners didn't lose their cars, but it's a little late now, and I don't know all of the surrounding circumstances.
wow if they took my car I would deffinately find a way to burn it to the ground. what a load of bull.
I'll deffinately be on the look out. especially since we're in charlotte all the time.

I guess the car is not just for show and tell, it moves and stops.

I saw this car today in front of South Park Mall on my way to work. I suddenly heard a siren, and didn't see a cop anywhere nearby. Then I see flashing lights coming from this Daytona Blue 350Z behind me, and to the right.
He pulled the the guy next to me over. It is definitely a kind of "Trojan Horse." I just wonder how many guys have wanted to race him, only to find out it's a CMPD cop.
