You can imagine (I hope) that a 76s would be purpose built for drag racing right? Leaving on the 2-step you're in boost, the 1-2, 3-4, 5-6 you're in boost. What's lag again? Call me captain obvious, but this isn't a road race/time attack set-up.

Down boy! Down... I wasn't hating... I was just pointing out that there must be some lag! No one said anything about it being purpose built for drag. i do bow down to the #'s and the pure adrenaline rush that comes with that beast of a machine but by no means was I hating on it... Cheers...

All, good -- my apologies

This isn't the first thread where this car and the dyno results have been posted. The mention of lag has been in those threads and in should've probably been stated that this specific turbo is best suited for drag racing (if I come off defensive, it's because of that, sorry). Historically, there's been nobody in the Z33 community that has built a big single production kit, until now. IP has a 47, but it's a full drag only (Powerglide) car & it's coupled w/ a 4.0L stroked motor. Everyone always jocks TT's because they think lag is everything. Well, it's not, when it comes to drag racing. The 2 highest hp VQ based cars at this time are both using a big single, and that's the evolution of this motor, imo. If history has taught us anything about sport compact drag racing *cough* SUPRAS *cough* it's that big singles lead the way in drag racing (Titan, WOTM, BL, SP, Intense). I could go on, but this thread isn't about drag racing. Again, my apologies for snapping atcha..

It's all good as soon as I'm off work I'm gonna look for the vid... just thinking about it gives me goosebumps I know all about the poswer of the ST setup and as you said it shows from all the ST Supra's and RX7's... Again hat's off to pushing the barrier for ST setups...

I'll see if we can arrange something, probably won't be for a couple of weeks, but I'll see what he wants to do.
