sunday 4-13-08 is prolly one of my worst days...

wake up leave from cali to come back home and i get a speeding ticket for 89 in a 70..

get home at 7:00pm..do a tortilla flats run at 9:00pm with jimmy and a supra..

half way up the run i miscalculate a turn and lose traction and find my back end in the middle lane and to make things worse a truck comes out of nowhere so i clip my left rear on the trucks left side of back door/truck bed..

sidairbags deployed during the impact..

ambulance and towtrucks come..i get 2 tickets for 'failure to avoid collission' and 'driving in middle lane' or whatever ticket related to that..i had no intention of speeding on this run and driving like a maniac and having bad tires which also sucks..it was my first accident

so my license is gonna be suspended again and insurance is going out the roof..so my chances of keeping the car are very slim right now so it'll be a sad day if it happens..unless if theres a chance of it being considered a total loss..

the accident was my fault and im owning up to everything ive done..im really pissed and dissappointed this happened but im gonna suck it up and own up to my actions and learn from this..

fyi i may be parting everything out

glad you're ok and no one else got hurt but come on...speeding ticket earlier in the day and then wreckless driving leading to an accident?

 

ya suspension twice..im definitely learning the hard way..

i would not consider me a douche and driving wrecklessly..i was driving about 10 over which i know everyone does..but it was a turn however so it was my stupidity and naiveness that got the best of me..

89 in 70 is ABOUT 10 over?!!!?! you failed in driving, did you fail math too?

 

sorry i didnt specify where i was going 10 over..i did 10 over on the turn..not the ticket i received

 

Bummer...

But man come on, I've driven to Tortilla Flats a few times and you would have to be going WAY more than just 10+ to lose control like that on any of those roads.

reading comprehension FTL .. the speeding ticket is separate from the "10 over" speed estimate from the accident.
