Got bored felt like drawing
so got bored rendered a drawing i did a while back

Give it some color and a few shadows thanks to photoshop

A little more intense shadows

And then the final

^ time to chime in and critique..
main thing..your 2pt perspective vanishing points are horid that it could possibly be a bad 3pt perspective..
wheels are distorted..photoshop isnt bad but the shadowing is off..

o crap i wasnt talking about your sketchesi was talking about the op..i just saw those..they didnt pop up last time i checked..but nice sketch indeed
only critique i could say is wheels needa be proportioned..ur pretty good w/ ps however

i use Corel painter off of traditional paper-and-pen hand sketches and a WACOM Intuous3
I only used PS to resize the canvas, other than that everything is hand render

im guessing you go to art academy over here? haha i dont really go to school for art so im not really good with rendering. wish i knew more techniques to get the lines off the sketch more clean on the comp. i kinda wish i had a little more schooling ill try downloading those programs and try them out
nice sketches man... i too do this all the time in class. and when i was little i used to draw these quick sketches all over things; my bedroom wall, worksheets, napkins at restaurants... I usually start with one defining line and work my way around it. i just wish i held on to all of mine. but anywho again great job!
^did you do some of this on the computer? i enjoy sketching cars on the off time and i have photoshop cs3 at work. i have no idea how to work 2 together (sketches + cs3)

i looked at this for the past 5 minutes. i dont think you did...you used that special blue/purple pastel with baby powder for the smooth areas didnt you...and for the wheels you used guache..am i right?
