I'm curious as to how you got the remnants of the rim off along the side of the road. Doesn't that piece just spin when you try and loosen it? I'm assuming that you just had the factory hand tools with you when this happened.
i had triple a come and help me with removing the tire. the assembly would just rotate so i had no leverage. i had to apply the brakes as he loosened the lug nuts. the jack the car comes with is pretty lame.
But on another note, I like how you took artistic pictures of your cracked rim
haha not even.. but yea, i couldnt help it.. i was so awestruck, i wasnt able to NOT stare at it.. didnt think that could happen to a stock rim.. and i had time while waiting for my friend to get there.
Holy hell!!!! Im glad I opened this thread. I was thinking of powder-coating my g35 wheels, but this really changed my mind. Im glad you're okay and thank God for the timing of the incident or there would've been much worse news.
