Default My Redline Track*new Powdercoat Work*

went all gloss black on my Axis Hiros. i like it better this way over the polished lip i had. things will be changing over the next month or so...there will be no more silver/chrome on the car so the polished lip just wasnt gonna work. anyway here it is as it sits today....

glossy black axis hiro look nice

do they come like this as an option?

yeah...had them done at a shop we use for alot of show stuff for with work. the shop is called conyers speedworld.

do they do good work with the forged rims? i have the stock gt rays

they can. most shops can do it but u have to tell them what to do. research it and u will find out u can powdercoat those wheels but u just have to make sure the shop doesnt bake the wheel at too high of a temp.

i thought about flat black also but i did gloss black with clear and im really happy with them...when they are clean they are super shinny...i like the gloss

looks great, just keep your eye out for cracks.

yeah thats what everybody has said but im not too worried about it. axis knows these wheels had issues and in order to stop the b1tching and people threating to sue they started making the wheel where they dont crack. the newer axis hiros dont have the issues the older ones have...and i bought mine 2 months ago

Just curious...what temperature should we be asking them to bake at, if we want to powdercoat forged rims? I know absolutely nothing about metallurgy

i forget what temp...theres lots of info about it on this forum...just search and read and u will find lots of usefull info.

looks great i think they would look amazing with a time attack red stripe around the rim.. i had my forged rays powder coated almost a year ago i love them mine are flat black though..

im not time attacking axis hiros but one day i will have some time attack TE37's
