ill admit it looks a little better but i wouldnt have removed the grill for those lights. i highly doubt those autozone fog lights give any added light output.
Still looks like crap but at least there's a potentially decent looking chick in the background to look at.
to each there own.. least have her to hang with. had the car since 06 and the girl since 08 she hates the car since removed the cats for test pipes which made the car exhaust smell like a burning gas station. i like the smell but she hates it. sometimes feel bad for the people driving behind me.. its an overwhelming smell. red lights are the worst.

the headlights don't light up the area right in front of the car to lets say 15 feet out. the fog lights actually give a lot of light at night and low visibility days. they might not look proper on the car but they do serve a function. PIAA is a quality brand known for great light output and longevity of the part. this particular part is their 1400 series. they come in black or silver housing with a clear or yellowish lens. they consume 55 watts of power each but light output is that of an 85 watt light. not that anyone wanted to know since the census is they ugly. autozone doesn't sell PIAA nor any quality parts.
Props on sticking to your original plan after all these years. But the grill, eye lid and fog
owned the car 7 years.. it's gone thru many phases so far. love to tinker on her. hadn't posted anything in couple years. self installed a train horn on the car also. the compressor and tank in trunk and 4 horns hidden in front bumper. it's about 160 decibels. people always laugh when they hear it.. they say its crazy to hear that loud of a sound from such a small car. they always figure it came from somewhere else. it's been a great experience owning the car. 95% of the mods done myself.. know the car inside and out. it's a daily driver and my only car. also do all the maintenance myself.. rotors, pads, engine oil, differential oil, tranny oil, clean air filter, etc...

the front of the car doesnt need to be lit up becus from the driver seat u dont see that area anyway. so thats why
can you reach the pedals or see over the steering wheel?.. your right the front of the car doesn't need to be lit. point well made.
U mentioned the first 15 ft from bumper the headlights don't light up the area. I'm saying that area is not visible from drivers perspective that is why its useless. If ur doing it for looks jus say so. Dont Bs bout how it helps visibility. Jus like most fog light they don't do anything for visibility up front Becus the driver can't see that area. But they do make a diff in widening the visibility on the road but not that much .
That's why if u run jus the fogs u can't see **** in front of u. Now if they were hid fogs then that's a diff story. U could probably use them as low beams lol
