bought the Z in 06'. it's a daily driver. have 24k miles, at 21k miles a V2 engine was installed due to oil consumption... all the performance parts installed by shop and did a DIY on the stereo.

mod list..
JW intake and clutch, Kenetix plenum and cats, DC headers, UA pulleys, Stillen exhaust, B&M short shifter, 4.083 final drive, piaa fog lights, carbon trim, eclipse nav head unit, 2 jl 10" subs, infinity mids/highs, alpine amps, ...

Should have mounted the fogs behind the grill. Still a nice car.

wanted to keep a stock look with tasteful carbon trim... dont have a photo up but also have CF doorstills and CF center gauge cluster. hopefully didn't over do it. found most of the trim here... www.thezstore.com thanks

thanks. kinda stuck the way it is, any aftermarket grill will block or cover the lights. any suggestions what to do to clean up that area, other than remove the lights? :P

replace the grill moldings and put the light behind the grill, thants wat i did and light output is fine and lights are not so visible when they arent on.

I had to fab up some new mounting brackets for the light to shine out. I actually had a friend take them to work (Bill Davis Racing) and had those guys make them. They went overkill. Nice metal, great welds, and flat blacked them too. It wouldn't be hard but I asked the guy about metal and he said, "I'll just take care of this at work." He runs a bodyshop on the side and installed them for me too b/c I suck at wiring.

those tacky foglights and headlight covers need to go in the trash...it's a shame you have already cut into your factory grill...eternal mod...yuck, IMO
