Is there that much of a difference in performance/sound with the silencer on as opposed to off?

Btw I have hfc's and headers, worried it's gonna blow my eardrums out lol

It will produce about 2-4hp but at the same time lower the tq.

Sound wise. Well what can I say. It's loud but o. M. G. It's the most amazing sound u hve ever heard.

Instead of buying a new rear bumper, you can bend the middle part up (between the two oem cutouts) and poke self tapping screws through it to connect it to the fender. I'll add a pic for reference.

costs about $3.00 to do

(minus what would be added to your electrical bill for drilling holes in the bumper...)

I'm more interested in torque, do you mean with the silencer ON you have more torque?

with it on u will not have MORE tq, but lose less of it... do u get what i mean?

i rather keep the sound and have higer hp than worry about tq. the z is not known for tq but more mid to high range power.

try it out. install ur exhaust and drive around with and without the silencer and ull notice a TINY difference.

When you guys with the ti c took the silencer out, how did you reattach the burnt tip? the screws are too small/there's no washers for them (at least I didn't get any...)
