That might be a bit much. I added red lugs today to see if it would look even better but its too much red for me. I remember the red volk GTF's in red. Those did look awesome on the Black Z.

 

Your wheels would have to be more of a satin black for the red to pop.

who gives a **** if theyre volks or not, color is color, and if a red pin stripe is your thing, do it to it.

the look, just in my opinion, is getting sorta played.
your options are endless. solid colors, different color combos in time attack theme, different finishes (anodized, flat, flaky, etc...) i mean do whatever you want, but theres hardly any originality in the red pinstripe anymore.

Remove your center caps, rocking Rota wheels are 'meh', rocking Rota wheels and the caps to let everyone know is fail. Besides it'll look a lot cleaner IMO.

This is just my two cents, but as I always say, to each his own.

 

just apply the red electrical tape on all of them.... so when you get tired of it you can easily take it off but in my opinion you should go with the time attack theme

 

Time Attacks to me arent played, not to mention they're the classic TE-37, if you got those. What is played is the tacky, cheap knock offs that think think putting red rings makes it "teh awesome".

I don't like the centercaps, and I definitely don't like the red stripe. New ricer trend is the red stripe around the wheel because it can be easily copied.

 

I know what you are trying to say and I agree with you, but realize that Spoon and Advan were doing the "time attack" style on their wheels since the mid-90s.

These are used usually on motorcycles (2 sides on each wheel and 1 to spare), but who says you can't do it for car wheels? I have them on my Ducati...

i think it looks good. i think it would look real good with some big red calipers and red lug nuts. matches nice with the tail lights. i like it.
