Volks are not played out. Just because you see them everyday on the internet doesn't mean they are all over on the public streets. I have yet to see a Z in my area with Volk wheels.

If you're happy, then that's all that matters.

And before you talk about other peoples "brain power", maybe you should take a look in the mirror with the busted finish on your unique wheels.

cmon guys.... he paid for the car, he can do anything he wants. atleast its clean, and dosent have s2k wheels + duct tape'd on fake side-exit exhausts and a park bench on the back... and blacked out heads and tails... or dropped so low that suspension is useless.

JUST GET THE DAMN SPACERS AND YER CAR WILL BE LEGIT

(coming from a volk owner, only 1 set tho....so im not that cool yet)

People need to stop bashing up members on my350Z because of different tastes and spending budgets. If he wants those wheels, he can have them on his car. You might not agree, but that's why you have your own Z.

Giving constructive critism is one thing, but bashing a member is another.

Nice ride OP.

I think it's coming together nicely. Those wheels aren't my first choice, but I can certainly understand budgeting and deciding what's important to you as far as spending money. I agree with the wheels spacer sentiment, it will make it look much better.

What rear spoiler is that?

thanks for the helpful and very informative insight on the matter.

Maybe you should have saved your money, not buy $500 Intakes that don't work.

that is odd that you say that. first off, i paid 400. secondly, i am sitting here staring at page 95 of the August 2008 issue of Modified Magazine and there is a real world dyno test on a 2007 Z. whats this? they added the AEM intakes and gained 5.6whp and 4.1 lb/ft? weird! but i guess i will take your word for it though..........

even if the intakes did nothing but add sound, worth it in my eyes. kind of like it was your choice to spend an extra 8 grand for the Nismo Z so you can have all extra welds, suspension and aero stuff that you will probably NEVER use in a sanctioned event. but it was YOUR choice right?

i already mentioned that it wasn't money that motivated me when i picked my rims. i could have purchased Volks..........you people act like they are limited edition and cost 10,000 a set.

jesus mary and joseph there are some seriously **** wheel snobs on this site.

this is why i took a 1 year break from this site.

OP, do what i did. find a LOCAL z forum. here in az we have az350z dot com, and we get together once a week for booze + wings at BDUBS! roll to events together, blah blah blah.... some of the guys on there have turned into best friends. plus youll be able to see mod'd out Zs and Gs upclose and personal.

i only come on here for the media share section....anything else is pointless.

where at in AZ? i was stationed out there, loved it.

sadly, there are no local Z clubs around here. there aren't many Zs period. the weather up here isn't very "Z friendly".
