I don't like it because it makes the wheels appear smaller then they are. But as long as you're happy.

 

Damn guys. Give him a break, he tried being (somewhat) innovative. I think if he added the silver stripe around the lip it would look sick. Plus his car really does need to be lower.

it makes the rims look really small...do the spokes black too and it'll look better i think

its cool looking but i'd rather just black out the whole rim with matte paint for a silver car. i don't like it much the way it is. it gives the illusion that the wheel is much smaller than it is. at first glance i thought the lip was the tire.

 

Definitely try the silver pin striping on the lip....

 

i'm not suffering anything... I actually have gotten a lot of compliments about them so far.. not on here obviously.

 

boy oh boy, those did not come out nearly as successful as I would have hope they'd be, this is simply IMO of course, all are entitled to their opinions on this look.

The center spokes ended up looking smaller than they truly are and the lip is completely gone...

 

not much controversy, i flipped back a page on the comments up til now...it seems it's more like a unanimous opinion, rather than a "controversy"...

I couldn't figure out how to make the circle tool have a 1px line, so heres a rough idea of how these should look. It would look good with just about any color but I like the silver on silver.
Looks f*ckin sick, so now all the haters will hang on his nuts when its done.

Agree, the strips make rims look stand out more.
