Unhappy My bro crashed his Z....

I told him he needed tires over a year ago but he didn't believe me. Well 45mph around a 25mph corner and this is the after math. So far he needs both driver side control arms, 3 of his 4 wheels, 3 of his 4 tires, driver side front fender, front bumper, side skirt and both seats replaced. Luckily he's alright and it doesn't look that bad but it sure taught him a lesson.... EDIT: notice the chunk out of his rear wheel missing.

More pics to come soon....

serves him right for taking a recommended curve at almost double the limit on bad tires.

could of been a lot worse.. a 25mph curve is fairly tight, so 45mph is just overkill. surprised he didn't get caught off guard and go spinning off into a wall.

glad he is ok though.

He should have listened ......Tires are the only thing between you and the road. Basically your life line, they always need to be in good condition.

Too bad, nice looking Z. His insurance will go up...its a claim but at least nobody was hurt.

That's what I am saying, the tires on there look just fine. Looks more like a driver error again.

tires look fine? put your glasses on homer.... those are no good. do you see how they look sort of slick and off color? they should be a prominent black with a wet look. those tires are not that way at all

I'd inspect the rear sub frame. I had an accident which had a similar point of impact on my rear wheel and the rear aluminum sub frame had a crack in it.
