Pics of my Redline with new Ings+1 cf bonnet!
So, after looking at carbon fiber hoods forever, I finally settled on one. I ordered this the first week of April, and it showed up this past Monday. Friday night a buddy and I installed it.
The hood is an authentic Ings+1 Type II in carbon fiber. I also installed the Aerocatch locking latches to keep it held down.
I was told that the hood wouldn't work with my Carbing strut bar, and sure enough, it didn't fit. I gave Brian the go ahead, and he started cutting a bit at a time until we made it work. Look at the top side vents, and you can see a bit of the Carbing bar poking out!
The hood has also settled slightly since Friday night, and needs a bit of fine tuning, but it'll be perfect soon!
Thanks to Brian Krah for the meticulous work and marathon install session!
Anyway, on to the pics! Thanks to my buddy Chris Wold (dvsidboy) for the shots! As always, all feedback is welcome, good or bad.
