I've been following your build for a while... I've gotta say, I absolutely love this car. Very clean and great taste. Solar orange is definitely growing on me... So much, I'm debating whether to go with it rather than star fire pearl for my Nismo's new paint... Great job man.

 

thanks man yeah solar orange is a beautiful color; but, it attracts looooots of attention. some wanted and some unwanted. sometimes i wish i would of gotten a black z

well i do but its water under the bridge now. about a year ago i was falsely accused of street racing. long story short i got my license suspended for a year







:update: guy i've updated my first post with my z story line check it out. i still got more mods to put if i just have to dig pictures from instagram

 

Wow, that sucks! Same thing happened to me last year, but I didn't lose my license. Some older guy in a VW CC ran me off the road coming around a turn, I'm assuming because he didn't realize it was two lanes? I Lost control of the Z in the rain and ended up totaling my car... For some reason a lady that supposedly witnessed the accident stayed to tell the responding officer that I was street racing. Funniest part was, that I was driving way below the speed limit due to the turn and rain. At any rate the officer couldn't prove that I was racing so she didn't issue any citations. It sucked but I at least got to upgrade to my current nismo... It doesn't matter how responsibly you drive, when someone sees a mid/late 20's guy driving a Z they automatically think that you're racing or speeding. But I can see why a flashy color would exacerbate the problem.

 

Yeah the orange and the loud exhaust :/ . It was 4 am heading home from a chicks house. I was cruising chili mi ding my own business when a camry with dubs, neon lights and a loud exhaust kept harassing me to race. The guy kept trying to talk to me, i ignored him till he got frustrated. He sped infront of me with his hazards and slammed on his brakes. I swerved to dodge him and a cop pulled me over. The guy in the camry took the red light and went into the highway. i got a criminal street racing ticket.. since i had a pretty clean driving record i decided to fight it myself in court. The cop in court under oath lied to the judge that i was talking to the guy and that i was going 20 over the limit. Anyways i guess I should keep my day job and never represent myself in court again live and learn... During the past year i only drive my z till midnight. I put my stock exhaust back on and i avoid every douce bag who tries to get near me.

So yeah my z color and my exhaust does attract unwanted attention :/

 

Hotness! If I did everything imaginable as far as exterior upgrades, this would be it with maybe '07-08 or '10-14 NISMO RAYS. But I'm mostly a stock theme guy. I've seen yours before but never commented. Your work and Z deserves recognition.

Hey my 350z peeps. I haven't been in the forums much haven't had much time really. I still been modding at a snails pace since I've been keeping up with maintenance hehe. I had to change worn buahings belts and worn out head lights. I hope everyone's been good, anyways I did some minor changes to my z like new head lights and wheel color. I promise to take better pics next time.

Definitely I havent seen another solar orange in a while that would be pretty cool.

 

Maybe we could add a PPW just to neutralize the color scheme a bit, yeah? LOL!
