Finally! We're once again in the VQ family. After parting out and selling my 350z in May, we just picked up a beautiful G35 for my fiance

2004 Infiniti G35 - Obsidian Black on Black Interior w/ Premium & Aero Package w/ 27k miles. I must say driving a G35 feels similar but definitely much different than the Z - I was wondering where the hell these buttons came from... and wtf do we need 3 card holders haha

Cool. My cousin just picked up a used 04 G too. His is silver.

First thing I noticed is that the stock exhaust sounds wicked on these cars.

 

nice pick up black on black are hard to come by.. and cute fiance

 

Love starting the car up. The exhaust note is noticeably louder than the Z. I think the car fits her well, and she really loves it sucks though cause I'll be cleaning it.

Surprisingly she got her first mod today too I love it! She has a built plan so far consisting of "very simple" things like project mu, HKS, cusco, among other things...I think I'm gonna faint now.

congrats. the G and a FX for some reason a lot louder than the Z. i had a 04 G before and it was louder than my 08 Z. my bros' 06 FX is louder than my Z. why is that????

 

Seen that on a few G's. Exhaust hanger broken,phail.

 

Yeah I gotta get her a new exhaust hanger for the right side. Gayness.

 

Welcome back to the VQ Family. If you knew earlier she wanted a G Coupe, you coulda kept some of your Z mods for her car. The G Coupe and FX are longer. Hence the exhaust pipes have a slightly longer path to travel to the outlets, which somewhat changes the tone of the exhaust to that of a Z. Yeah the G Coupe feels quite different from a Z. I know first hand as I drive one one day and the other the next. Actually, very similar yet a night and day difference. (<---------------- Yes I know, what an oxymoron of a description)
