We will be getting the (R35) GTR, the first few that were privately imported have only recently landed.
As for the ladies... I'm sure we can make a plan!

You'll notice that quite a few of them have those vents, it's off center and acts as an air feed for the S/C. I think it's a little more noticeable on the first one.
A few things to remember about S.A. (South Africa)
- We're very high in Johannesburg, altitude wise (ok, and in other ways too. One word - Swazi) at 1800m asl. (+/- 5900ft asl). So we've quite starved for air here, we lose 0.2bar (+/-3PSI) because we're so high up.
- Our winter temperatures average about 15deg (59deg f) and summers are hot and dry, averaging about 30deg (86deg f) in summer.
- Up in Johannesburg we're only provided 93 and 95 octane fuel. Race fuel is bought by the 20liter (5gal) drum in only 98 unleaded and is pricey.
- Speaking of pricey - one gallon of 95 costs us R37.25 and at the current exchange works out to roughly $3.25 a gallon. (and I remember paying 99c/gal when I lived in Orlando, Fl )
Add all these factors together and you'll see that making power in SA is tricky, Pre-Ig (detonation) is our biggest enemy. Hence why we know just about all the ins and outs of intercooling, chargecooling and water injection.
I know this question is going to come up so let me help you out.
Used '04 350Z - R200 000 or $20 000
New '08 350Z - R420 000 or $42 000
and don't stress, some local ladies coming soon!

Another chap I know has an APS single turbo on his Z, has 20" rims, deep dish at the rear, coilovers etc... That's it, but it's so hot in it's simplicity, farks off too!
Will try find pics, I'm sure he's actually a forum member here...
