dayum, that's nice. i thought it was a Maserati before I scrolled down. That thing looks nicer than the M5 or the older A8 for sure. My experience with Hyundai is limited to rental cars but I've never had a problem in one and they're always comfortable. So, Hyundai or not this thing is suweet! I'd drive it!

I would rock it for sure. As a trend-watcher, I can almost guarantee the Genesis will be the hot new trend for 2009.

I think its a really nice car.
I would rock it.
I use to have a 05 elantra as a daily driver and I beat the **** out of that car, totally abused it and never had a problem.
IMO the company has made a tremendous jump then the Hyundai of old, they are reliable now.
But the 4.6 v8 with the tech package is close to 42k
that seams a little high....

 

Guy's in Korea have already started modding the coupe's.

 

They look pretty dope modded, but there are still so many other cars I would rather have.

Yeah, Hyundai got a bad rap for putting out some POS cars back in the 80's but the new Genesis platform has a lot of potential IMHO. I mean just check out RMS Genesis on the cover of modified.

 

once you read all the specs of this car...i'd rock it...hell for the price, you get more goodies than 5 series BMWs!

I bet you if this car was re-badged with any other Asian manufacturer, it would sell like hot cakes. I mean come on; turbocharged and RWD factory platform!

One of the very few car's that impressed me at SEMA this year was HKS's Genesis Coupe.

The worst part of any Hyundai is their interiors. This one looks ok.

Those coupes are pretty dope. I'm still not feelin the rear of the coupes, if I had a choice i think I'd go with the sedan.
