I'm with him... I have the Nikon D40 and none of my pictures ever come out like that...

Which pics are you talking about? The first page was mostly hdri pics (take 3 pics with diff. exposures, combine in photomatix, play with the settings, done). It's not a photoshop filter, in fact, photoshop was barely used after that. The second set of pics (with the car cleaned) were just regular shots, no filters.
