Thumbs up

.....and now for some pix
_______________________________________

I dug up this pic I took a few years ago when I drove it off the lot, this is as bone stock as can be.

Underneath the VQ35DE-R motor. I noticed the revup has a terminal on each side of the timing cover which adds more wires to the job.

I put back on the cover and was going to settle for this look.

Final layout. Wire tucked to the best of my ability

My car off the jack stands and back down from the ramp.

_______________________________________

One of the biggest challenges was the not so obvious harness for the lights. Those are the wire bundle that rests along the fender next to the strut bar on each side of the engine. The driver side wasn't so bad, but the passenger side seemed endless. Aside from that bundle controlling the headlights, it went further into the alternator, around the other way to the horn in the front. I don't have small hands or arms so from my elbows down I was fu@ked. I had scratches and cuts all over my forearms and hands because I had to force my hands into the tight spaces just to detach the wires from their terminals. Detaching them also turned out to be a time consumer. They are not "detach friendly" if you were to ask me. I did a couple different routes and I came up short and had to keep finding routes so that all the wires can be able to reach their terminal. After a couple tries I thought it was not possible, but a few more hours into the job I was not able to accept it so I kept trying until it worked For those of you who may ask, I completely took off my wipers so I have no reservoir tank for it. I then took my coolant reservoir, bought a longer tube and relocated it to where my wiper reservoir tank was. That's why there is more room in the passenger front corner. I also covered the power steering reservoir with a black sleeve. I could not stand the white/clearish tank for some reason. I will tell you this, the wire tuck will skim up the VQ motor. It looks like I cut a lot of fat on this motor. I decided to relocate my hyper voltage system from Sard and when I did I had more wires to tuck so that extended my garage time. Also when you clear up some wires, hoses will be exposed so I tried to hide them as much as possible

You can get a 1" stubby antennae to screw into it just to give it a more finished look. I don't really listen to my radio either and IMO, it just looks cleaner. Plus, they're less than 10 bucks on eBay so it's a cheap mod to boot!

I don't normally comment on these kind of threads and although my personal car doesn't show it, I do have a rather high standards when I look at how the car's been modded. With that said, I think your car looks very nice. The fact that you didn't go overboard with gaudy mods and the way you kept your car in such pristine (at least in pictures) condition is a huge plus. Also, looking at your garage floor made me clean up around my garage a little today.

BTW, if you haven't noticed already, I changed the title last night when I received your PM.

^ yes, you answered your own question

Engine bay looks clean man I love it. So for the strut bar, all you used was paint thinner to clean the blue off?
