I hear you, I think your Z is at a point where anything else done aesthetically will start to fall into the overkill category, in my opinion anyways. if it were mine id put a Vortech on it and call it a day. but it's yours...what car are you considering moving onto?

Anything exterior wise right now would be over kill. What I meant by serious mods was strictlyl FI.
Way back when they first came out, I always wanted an NSX but it was way out of my league. Now that I'm older and more situated, it's more attainable for me. I've been entertaining the idea that if move on to another car it'd have to be a super car...the NSX is at the top of my list. I just wish it had more juice

meh i dont really like the NSX, and i dont consider it a supercar as it's underpowered (even in it's time) and doesn't have the low/wide stance supercars usually have. Theyre low but just too narrow/long and look dated.
with that said, i think they are classic cars and im sure you'll make something great out of them. If you've always wanted one nows the time to get it as they go for so cheap nowadays.

Thats where I bite my lip. For a super car that's priced at $90k (brand new @the time) it doesn't have that bone crushing power. I hear though that it's weight distribution and handling is elite. Anywho, there are some cherry low mileage NA1's that go under $40k and those are the ones I'm looking into. We'll see though, some days I feel contempt with my car and some days I want something more exotic.

Yea there pretty cheap nowadays...plus with your love of modding the NSX is endless...
but since it's been out so long it's been done...you'd just be following some one's foot steps unlike with the Z you've been creating the footsteps for most to follow!
I say what ever you do don't sell it...

NSX is definitely not a supercar. It handles very well and may be able to compete with some of the supercars under certain conditions, but that doesn't make it a supercar.
Plus, it's outdated now in all aspects. Unless this is something you have to try out, I'd say pass on the NSX. With the way your car is aesthetically, adding the much needed power to it will only result in pure win.

Boost on my Z will definitely revive the excitement I once had. One of the main reasons I don't want to deal with FI is smog. I still have two years left until I have to test my car, but I don't think all the money, time, and labor is worth it since I will be doing the build myself (except tuning). If I can't pass smog and register my car I have no use for it in the long run.
