I'm betting on something from the GT- series wheels in custom offset/color or CE28N. Amuse uses the CE's on their cars...

Besides, those caps won't work with SL's.

I narrowed my choices down to Works, Volks or SSR's. When it came down to it, I wanted something opposite to my SP1's. As much as I loved those wheels, my next move had to be something totally different, otherwise why move on to a new look? Now that the cats out of the bag, I guess its the guessing game again lol. I should get pix up by this weekend or early next week with my new set (if plans go well).

 

After you posted the center caps, i think you went with a monoforge with a jdm timeattack theme...white on purple z would be interesting.

Really sad to see your sp1s go but I am really looking forward to see what wheels you are going with. I've Always have been a fan of your car.

 

^ Thanks man. My SP1's are missed, but I think moving on and having fun shopping for a new set of wheels revived the passion for my Z. BTW, good job on your SMB. One of my favorite factory colors that came out for our car

 

IMO, center caps can make the wheel. I'm never a fan of leaving that area blank and when I see it open like that I feel like something is missing that's why I spent extra for the caps.


Its funny because three and a half years ago when I was shopping for my first set of wheels, Volks were my #1 pick. Below were my top three:

1st= Volk TE37 in RMC: I was not able to order them as I was told they were discontinued OR they needed ten committed buyers in order to have them made
2nd= SSR SP1 in SBC: The set I eventually bought
3rd= The current set (coming soon )
