Thanks guys. I'm still undecided on a color scheme for the walls and flooring. I had a few huge Nissan posters framed but when we have high winds up here and I opened the garage the wind blows them down. I'll try to get more pix later of the rest of my garage and tools.

The reason for the extra space is when they were building the house I had an option to have an extended theatre, but I opted to eliminate it and spread more car space I can fit three cars and a motorcyle in one row and the other side just one car.

I extended the gas line from the basement and put a 30,000 BTU ventless.

Believe me I use them extensively. I spend a lot of money on my tools, thus I take care of them especially after use

My father and I just finished building a new garage for us to work in and him to store his cars. I spend a good amount of time here detailing as well. It took us about two years if you include planning.

It is in a residential neighborhood so zoning and planning of this project was tricky. We wanted it to look like a house from the street as to not upset our neighbors or draw attention.

The downstairs is a 9 car garage with storage, bathroom, etc.. You can't see it from the front but if you follow the driveway to the back of the house there are 3 large garage doors.

Upstairs is a 2500 sqft. 3 br. 2 bath apartment (with its own 1 car garage) that we wanted to rent out but can't due to the town regulations.

These pictures were taken quickly at the end of construction. We still needed to do some cleanup at this point.

9 car garage? So the complete downstairs is nothing but garage and all the living space is upstairs? That's insane! Love how much space you guys got. But the interior needs work imo.

Yes, the whole first floor is garage and the second is the living space, though nobody lives there. I will occasionally spend the night up there during a two day detail, but that's about it.

The downstairs inside is more finished now, but it is really a work and storage space so we are more concerned with function than form. We really don't spend any time there unless we are actively working on something and don't want to have to worry about spilling something, etc..
