Doh! I was watching that parade, and I didn't even notice that happen. Sheesh.

I gotta say, the most intimidating car there in that parade was the bright yellow Pantera DeTomaso. That sucker sounded so mean next to all those small-engined ricers covering most of the track. It was simply a very pissed off looking car.

 

Ah, so it was you guys with the Z's. I was diggin' on your cars over in the show area. Took a few pics of them myself. A couple friends were with me, and when they saw your cars, they were all suddenly convinced that I needed to buy a Z right now, not later.

As far as that left-hand-drive GTR, I chatted with the guy for a minute. I have his business card here somewhere... here it is:

I looked all over the interior. Looked pretty darn clean. They must've custom molded that entire dash piece. Geez, what a work trip.

Scott: How was your race day?

 

Well, I'll post a full report on my site soon, but the attached image should give you some idea of how my weekend went (I'm in #51). I qualified 21st out of 48 for both races, and finished 16th on Saturday with one spin (my error), and 26th on Sunday after getting punted off the track in turn 11. I was almost in the top 10 on Sunday when I got hit, but those are the breaks!
