So what if they bought him his first car? My first car was a gift from my dad as well... cheap and slow, but free. Nobody in this forum would ever reject a free car. The guy is humble and admits getting a free car as well as working hard by himself to mod it.

instead of buying your next set of mods, take a driving course so you can learn how to handle your car. not that i'm saying your a bad driver, but every 17 year old has enough to gain from some professional instruction... this is imho the best way to spend money on your car

 

Like thats the first thing you would have done when you were 17. Come on people let's be real! If I were 17 again and I bought a nice car like that I would be immensely content. Nicely done OP at least you kept classy and tasteful.

 

Just drive safe, you suck at driving because you've only had your license for a year so take it easy before you wreck it. (don't take this offensive, just the truth)
