17 Year Old's Z. A Work in Progress. (Many Pictures!)
why do people get so mad when they see young ppl with nice cars that their parents bought? I think that's awesome someone is willing to do that for their child if they have the means to. If I had a son you bet your *** I would buy him cool stuff all the time so he can experience fun and exciting things as he grows up. Why? BC every parent wants to give their child the life they never had no? BUT.... BUT.... I would only keep doing so IF I see he is respectful and grateful for said things, and understand how fortunate he is compared to others. But if he became a brat and didnt take of things and just looked for the next free thing, well, then that ends real quick and he gets nothing...
So who cares who's parents buy them what, as long as they are thankful/grateful and respectfully take care of it.
Different story though if the kids a brat. I don't think the OP is being a brat is he?
"I'm 17 years old and I am truly blessed to have such a great car at a young age. "
Sounds to me like he knows he's fortunate

Secondly this is a 3 year old thread so the guy is at least 20 now, I don't get why people hate on 17 year olds (Myself being one) and assume thier parents bought everything, have you worked 3 jobs in the summer to save up every nickel and dime, missed movies with friends knowing that that $8 is a little step closer to getting your dream car?
I do know how it feels to go through high school and college broke as f*ck, regretting my purchase but unwilling to admit it.
I know how it feels to leave my wife for months with the only material benefit being money. There are many brave people here that leave much more behind, for much longer, in much more danger. Don't come in here and act like you know how it feels to sacrifice.
I never claimed to have sacraficed more then other people or act like I know what it is to REALLY sacrafice like you or others that are older and have had time to have made those tough decisions which I don't doubt may be in my future, I'm still young so I dont have much to sacrafice, I am thankfful for that and thats it.
Odiously English class wasn't one of your best subjects.
There's no way I am going to believe that someone of your age can buy such expensive item's. When I was 20 years old and in college I was working at a local grocery store and Wendy's making minimum wage and within a years time there would be no way in hell that I could buy stuff like that.
I don't believe a word you say, though I do agree with you that I am funny.

Haha thanks bro. I've had the car for 4 years so I don't know why people think I can't afford all these parts. It's not like I bought all these parts all at once..

So for the most part seems like people came in here, don't read the first post, check the pics and go "F*ck you and yo momma's money".
OP's response:

On a serious not though, much props for doing what you want to do. I have hope that one day people will learn how to read through post before posting.
