the headlights come from the factory that way on all the c6's i believe.

 

^^^ Yes, they do. And I've always wished they didn't. I am not a Vette fan but if I were to buy a C6, I would replace its lights with those from a black one.

 

yeah..i think it's more a vette thing..yes when i had my Z i would of never put chrome wheels on it..i've modded all of my previous cars..celica, altima, mustang, 350z and always put gunmetal, or machined wheels on them..this is my first car with chrome cause i think it goes really well with the c6..it's a very popular option to get chrome wheels for the C6.

I find it very irritating that people spend that much time typing worthless comments. Your car looks nice man, sure I'd change a few things but, it is your car and you do waht you want with it. OP, chrome wont get you home... black with machined lip wouldve looked better... but, if you like it...

bet the exhaust sounds great though...

 

color matched headlights from dealer look nice but i think it would look siick with headlights painted black. As for wheels im not a fan of chrome period but it looks nice on your ride.

besides painted the headlights black you could always buy some headlights that came on a black C6 vette and put them on yours. There already painted black for you. I think it would look awesome. But your car looks great man. i agree that some different color wheels would set it off but the chrome looks good as well. Is there any more plans for your car in the future???

Nice ride man, I'm a little puzzled on why you bought "stock looking" c6 wheels but as long as you like them more power to you. When are you going to drop it? I should be dropping mine this weekend so I'll let you know how it comes out.

it's funny..i posted a thread on the vette forums on what type rims i should get cause i like chrome, machined, and black for different reasons and the majority liked chrome rims.of course posting this on a z forum is gonna get this reaction. besides the immature noob with the "idiot" comment i respect everyone's opinions..that's why people buy different cars for different reasons. on the vette forum i read posts about how the z looks like a stretched out vw beetle and that it's underpowered and stuff. i like the stock painted headlights..i dont' think it looks cheap at all..a few ferrari models have them like the modena..i think it looks really cool. again i'm not trying to be very different from stock cause i love how the c6 looks stock. everytime i see one i think it's a beautiful car and i've gotten so many compliments on it already of it being beautiful just stock.i also get tons of reactions like "man..they must pay you well with your job!" I didn't get that as much with my Z.i think the z is a good looking car but i don't think they look as good stock but can look sick as many of the Z's on this forum do modified and dropped.
