I couldn't justify buying the same wheels as stock just in different offsets... I couldn't sleep at night.

Looking forward to getting together with you tomorrow and chowing down on some Thai food!! The Z's will make a good photo-op with your Vette in the middle!!

Your C6 looks awesome! Too bad you couldn't have both the Z and the Vette (has a soft spot for Vette's...my mom is on her 3rd).

I'll get to hear this exhaust for myself and hopefully I'll get a ride too!!

i recently seen a new vette going down the road the was fully modied. Was freaking beautiful. Had a rather large wing, something that looked like a body kit and some black wheels. look sord of like it was set up to drift. I love the way a stock vette looks but if i had one i would def go all out but i imagine it pretty expensive to mod a vette

I wouldn't exactly say cheaper, but you do get more bang for your buck. Oh yeah, bodykits on vette's are a no-no (only the z06 widebody looks decent).

this really wasnt a body kit more like a lip kit i guess but i would also say that it was a no no but after seeing that one i like.... I also seen a Cad. CTS on the back of a trailer that had a big drift wing wheels and something that looked like a lip kit.

I think it looks great - no a fan of chrome but with the Vette you can get away with it
also, I think the headlights look fine the way they are

I think the old wheels looks the same as your new wheels, but you are your own man.

Dropping?!?!?!? I dropped mine couple months ago and the black thing below the front-end scraps a little bit. My friend did it for me for free and it doesn't need new springs, or any mods. Looks good, but it was my daily, I would not drop it.

again...i know they look very similar to my old ones. I liked my old stock rims..only wish they were chrome cause the polished wheels get dull easy. i like the simple 5-spoke design of the C6 wheels so i just got something very similar in chrome with a slightly more aggressive offset than stock. i actually went to the dealer and had them lower my car on stock bolts..they did the front but the manager came out and said they had to raise it cause they weren't supposed to modify any vettes..so they raised the front back up but i don't think they raised it up right to stock ride height in the front..it's a little lower than other stock vettes i've seen but my rears i tried to do myself and they are already turned all the way...don't want to get aftermarket bolts though. it's my DD so i'm happy where it sits now.

Old wheels look better. The new ones look to be some cheap Chinese made brand. Which on a 35k plus dollar car is just silly and really cheapens the look of the car. Some stock Z06 wheels in chrome would have been the way to go if you had to have chrome. Lastly of course everyone on the Vette forums like chrome rims, because most of them are old and dig chrome. Sad but true stereo type. If you like the new wheels then thats all that matters. Just not the type of wheel people will dig on this site man.

i've had tons of compliments already about my new wheels and half of them were from young guys so it's not just an old person thing. I'm 30 and I like chrome on the vette. most of the replica c6 z06 rims are made in china and you wouldn't be able to tell the difference in them from gm or the replica ones if you saw them.they look exactly the same. Just because they are made in china doesn't mean they are bad. probably most of the crap you use everyday is made in china.
