It's not photoshop, it's the remote display with the backing off.

I cut the plastic gage cover just enough to pop the circit board in. It fits really tight and does not move at all. The only drawback is that the button is a little odd felling since there is no backing to keep it tight. It kind of pushes in further than it shoudl, but since I don't use it much it's no big deal.

i believe you that it is not a photoshop but man it really does look like a photochop in both pics

it's just a display module, the actual unit is mounted somewhere else.

Yeah, that was a brave act. I'm afraid to do any cuts or holes in anything on my Z.

The reason why your first image looks like photoshop is because of the faint hint of a white line around the unit. And the reason why there's that white line is from you cutting into the cover lens. It's either the reflection off of the cut ends or we're probably just seeing the cut ends themselves.

Nice job though.
