Not my choice of car to mod but you did a great job and it looks like you didn’t do it half assed or cheap. Good job and it looked great.

Thanks for the compliments guys!

Believe it or not, these cars actually have a bit of a following although admittedly, there are only a handful of guys who have taken their Camrys to this level and beyond.

I was actually trying to get it featured in early '07. A friend of mine who worked at JIC told me to call Modified, and when I did they said they would have loved to feature my car... Except that they had shot one that was nearly identical a couple weeks before. So i never got it featured. This is the car that did:

His setup was nearly identical... Older 3SGTE engine, my hood/trunk combo, Gram Lights, Stoptechs, caged. Other than the cage and seats his interior was pretty much stock though.

I applaud your hard work, with a platform with very little aftermarket support.

Definitely, everything was either fabricated or modified from something else to fit.

For example, the Koyo radiator was made for an SR20 S13, the Walbro 255lph fuel pump was actually for a Ford Mustang 5.0 (lol). TRD rear sway bar was from a Solara V6. etc etc etc
