I don't want to speak for Sean but maybe he is happy with the quality of Rota wheels, the price point, the performance, etc.. Often people on this forum talk about Rota quality without actually owning a set or seeing a set in person and just base their opinions off rumors on the forum. You would be surprised at the amount of times people call us or post in sale threads saying how great the quality of the wheels are and that they far exceeded their expectations. Here's a quote from a forum member who just posted last night after getting his wheels

"Dan, I received the wheels today, considering what kind of high priced wheels I have had in the past, let me just say that I am impressed with these. I have the wheels installed but am getting the car lowered tomorrow. I will be posting up my review of your customer service and the wheels I received.... along with pics." Thread HERE

Took the words from my mouth.

I have hit potholes going 75 and they really shook me up.. but my wheels are still in perfect condition. For me they are the best bang for the buck. 1 volk wheel costs me as much as a set of these it seems like. I'd love to get volks and they make great wheels but I don't feel they are a good deal. Though I am sure Rota makes quality wheels, the problem is that they RIP OFF the designs of other wheel companies. If rota made some unique looking wheels, im sure they will get rid of their bad reputation.

But between the two colors, I would go for the hyper black.
