Did you guys rent a car and went free-roaming or did you guys go with a tour guide?
We used the bullet train and subways for most of the trip, but in the countryside we used a relative's car. My girl's family is from Japan so there was no need for a tour guide.

The climate varies depending on which season you decide to go. They have four full seasons

I finally had a chance to update this thread a bit. Things have just been a little crazy around here. Here are some pics from Disney Sea and Disney Land. I must say that I would love to go back to Disney Sea since it is much more adult oriented and the attention to detail was mind blowing. I live down the street from the Disneyland in So Cal and it is nothing compared to what Japan has to offer.

^ freaken INSANE bro! Disney Sea looks freaking SWEET! I think I'll try to stop by there next summer. I'm planning on heading to HK, Vietnam, and now adding Japan to my list Thanks to you! How far away is Disney Sea from Tokyo?
