UPDATE 8/13/09: 2 weeks I'll be getting my do luck rear, side skirts, chargespeed v2 front bumper, nismo v2 spoiler, the gold TA stripe on the lip edge, and new brakes but on my car. Im definitely gonna be bumpin' this thread when its done

Picked these bad boys up down in West Palm yesterday. My first set of aftermarket rims so I was siked to finally get these mounted. I took a handful of pics. Let me know what you guys think.

Sorry, but whoever painted those lips black ruined them. They'd look a lot better if they stayed polished.

 

phatom lips FTW Get a gold ring around the outside to make it more obvious where the wheel end and the tire starts. Even if you dont i think it looks cool.

That is something I have considered actually...I might start with taping that TA strip first just to see how it looks. I would like it more obvious they are 19"s though

 

Yea it looks weird to me, looks like the tires are too fat

 

I'd definitely try to add on a gold TA lip around the rim. It'd set them off much more!

I saw st350z original post, and even though these rims got mixed reviews, I personally love the way they look.

Major plus one on the TA strip going around the rim. I'd go for a gold strip instead of red simply because you don't have any red on the car. It'll make the rims stand out even more. Keep up the good work!

 

I think it looks horrible. The lips need to either be a normal color or the spokes need to match the lips. It makes them look like 17s.

 

Was expecting to open the thread to see sf's/polished lip . I think it ruined the wheels as well painting the lip black. Blends in to the tire too much.

I give you an A for effort and trying to be different though but that definitely did not work out right.
