best coilovers i've ever had, not even kidding. Perfect balance between stiff and comfortable unlike tein. Full adjustability, no squeaks or clunks, great on crappy socal freeways and best of all, cheap. I got mine for 1150 new and this is my second set of the same coilovers. First were true type, now it's oem style. No difference at all.
This is not a photoshoot. I just snapped some pics of what i've done so far with my friend's point and shoot. Still need to play with the drop.
I got another Z because I felt like my previous Z wasn't exactly where I wanted it to be (looks & power). I thought it was time to move on to another platform and I actually went to the dealership to order a 370z, but then I saw this nismo with no miles with a really nice price sticker on it. Plus I never really could get used to the 370z shape and interior, too much for me. Now that I see them all the time on the street, I'm glad I didn't get it. Some things on it are hopeless (tailights, short wheel base, sloped-down roof line, silly hatch design, etc). I like how simple and precise z33 is inside out.
Wheels for sure, but not any time soon. My plans are mainly the engine now, everything else will either have to wait or is not needed at all. I still don't even know what wheels I'd get for it. Definitely will try to stay away from 9.5 10.5 setups and go something wider like 10.5 and 11.5-12 like i've always wanted.
The only exterior mods on the list are blacked out headlights and painted orange reflectors.
I got it from the dealer for a very good price, 10k below what these went for when they came out. I got it during the 4th of july sale weekend.
The spoiler is what makes this kit look sick and not ridiculous. Take that away and it'll look like an evo without a wing. The rear bumper is already overly aggressive. It does need the wing. Plus the downforce can actually be felt over 70 mph, feels more glued to the road at high speeds and not as jumpy.
The windshield tint is really subtle and most of the time I don't even remember that I have it tinted. 50% is the way to go because it gives you sun protection without any sacrifices in visibility, esp. at night. It's ceramic tint so it deflects the sun better and it doesn't get nearly as hot in the car on a sunny day.

Welcome back brotha, glad to see you went with another Z. Interested to see what is too come for this one.
Im Lovin the stance gr+ as well.. doesnt get any better for the money.

Yes, always lots of plans. That's the reason to even get this kind of car imo.
The spacers are adapters. They just bolt on, no trimming needed since they are 25/30mm. You don't need to trim past 25mm.
I didn't trade it in. I sold the car. Before I did that, I took off everything i could that wasn't stock, incl. the TT kit and all the components to run it. This new Z wasn't mean to be an upgrade, more like a continuation of what was started but never finished with the previous one. I didn't care if it was a nismo or a base model Z, i would have still got it. I wasn't too big of a fan of the nismo kit and wheels. But now, when it's lowered and poking, I actually think the kit makes a lot of sense. Plus it's aerodynamic, or so they say.
