Talking from a jaguar to a Z..hell of a change!! but i love it! (pics)

lil background.

im 22 in the airforce and i been round this website n the many other z sites for sometime now doing my research on the car and watnot. well i finally got a 04 black enthusiast after deciding i didnt need anything extra aside from the traction control n lsd. not to mention i rather like the cloth seats. prior to the z i owned a 04 jaguar S type for about a year and a 01 canadian GSR which i owned for 5 years which i did many solo 2 events in. sold the integra cause i thought i was done w my obsession of modifying cars so i got a ***uar. well a year later decided it was deff not wat i wanted n i needed something i could modify. ive owned the z for about 2 weeks now i painted the wheels black (sand, primer, lowgloss paint, clearcoat)tinted the front lower reflectors and did the black housing on my headlights (wat a pain) along with that i got a jwt pop charger and a SRS catback. ( i kno i kno ebay exhausts suck blah blah blah had a welder take a look at the welds he said they looked good so i installed) looks and sounds amazing. not to mention for the under 300 price i payed shipped to my door i figured ive waited more money on stupider things.. anyways. lots of mods to come and my first attempt at a solo 2 in this thing will be in brooksville fl on the 18th enjoy.

on to the pics

heres my Z this thing is a blast.

Welcome!

My Dad has a type S. He just had to replace the motor at 74k because the auto tensioner failed. It has a plastic piece known to wear out and put slack in the chain (his skipped two teeth). Upon doing research for him, I found even more info about the auto tranny you cant service and that seems to fail constantly. I hope he doesnt have that go next.

Ive never had the chance to open up the type S or put it through some turns.

I actually dig the paint on the wheels. When I read that I literally though *yea, this going to look horrible* I ended up thinking *hmmm, my wheels are scratched...* The only thing I dont dig is that shift ****, too small for the Z. The Z is muscular car, thats a midget ****. Phreaktor can tell you all about midget *****.

thanks!!

i had the jag for a year n a couple months.. it was in the dealership atleast 3-4 weeks in that year.. all sorts of electrical problems. drove good and comfortable but will never own another. tell your pops to get ride of that thing.. it has a massive snowball effect.

ya i thought the painting the wheels thing would turn out bad. but ive had other z owners ask me if i got them powdercoated.. after sanding them real real good and primering. i sanded them again untill all the old curb rash n scratches on the wheels were gone turned out alot better then i thought.

i like the small **** hand wont ever slip off it.. not to mention i had it lying around w a locking nut and my factory 1 was all scratched. it just so happened to be 10mm so i threw it on

i just installed exhaust today.. but check bk tom ill see if i can get a quick clip in the mornin before work.. im looking into some test pipes possibly in the future.. from the inside atleast the exhaust is fairly quiet.(buddy of mine said when i drive by its pretty loud but i havent heard it outside) much louder then stock but w hfcs or test pipes it would be amazing. inside when driving u hear the exhaust up 2 about 4.5-5 rpm... then the jwt is just so damn loud. im quite pleased w it tho. might get some different tips down the line to do something diff but unless it cracks this will be the catback. looking into a good Ypipe and some sway bars here on this next paycheck.

Nice looking Z, congrats! That Jag looks sweet too; nice job modding it to look classy, young, and sporty. I'm sure you'll improve upon the Z based on your previous cars, look forward to future pix. Cheers!

You are confused, bro. Cruise control buttons are on the right side. Radio buttons would be on the left side. It's at least an Enthusiast...
