A Year In The Life Of My Zed *PIC HEAVY*
Having owned my car for now over a year it has seen a fair few modifications.........Might give other people inspiration
Day i picked her up back in october 2008. Absolutely standard....not for long

My first mod was 20mm spacers all round

The went for a two tone paint job with my self painted black stock rims. Also i gained nostrils and eyelids

Replaced my Wheels with a set of GT4's and had a front bumper resrpay

I then put a car PC into it

Then it came time to put make my car sound like it should.....Japspeed K1

Then i decided on a V1 rear spoiler

Then came a AEM CIA and a seat swap

Then came a suspension and brake upgrade. BC Coilovers and DBA 5000 and 4000 Discs

I then purchased a Vis Carbon Bonnet....with mixed reactions

Then it came time for new tyres......so i figured i could sell my GT4's for enough money to cover new wheels and tyres
19" TSW catalunya

Having got the carbon bonnet i caught the carbon bug.......A-Pillars came next

Then came the Seibon Carbon Hatch

Then having needing to finish it off i decided to ditch the Vis bonnet and get a more refined look. In comes my most recent purchase a Seibon +07 Carbon Bonnet

So there we have it.....A complete overhaul of what started out as a standard 350z. Over its year of ownership i have certainly changed it for worse and for better
Hope you enjoy :teeth:

Good job on keeping up with your mods. thank you for losing that hood. You need some bigger spacers all around. Why do you have dual intake ducts with no hr. Cf lip, diffuser and side skirts and you'll be done with the cosmetics. Good job though I always wandered are left hand drive vehicles sought after like right hand drive is over here?

My thoughts; First thing that comes to mind - Ebay Motorsports
But.
overall you have changed the over all look and the end product its looking ok, what is really ironic is that you have non HR, and AEM Cai dosnt really make any use of at least 1 of those ram intakes because the AEM isnt really faced towards that spot.
Now on to others, N1, hella cheap, ebay exhaust, But sound is pure sex while looks are iffy, so... props on the sound
Rims, dont really like but if you like them its all good.
The hatch its nice, but if your going got cf hatch you might as well get the hatch with spoiler, dont know the name of that one, but its killing 2 stones with 1 bird and yes i know what i said
Anywho looking forward to your updates, take care

This is a classic story. I think you've rounded the bend in terms of appearances.
I was a little concerned around the "two-tone" part.
Keep working on refining your look. good luck.

I think you're on the right track. I guess the non-functional dual intake scoops are a little weird to me. But I really like the carbon top half. It ties in nicely with the wheels. Spacers for the rear wheels, or replace with something wider to begin with. The problem with spacers on skinny wheels is that from the back you still see skinny tires, but they're just pushed out farther.
Looking forward to future updates.

at the first couple pics i was ''OH NOEESSS'' then towards the end i was like ''oh okay, not bad''. I suggest a subtle front lip, more drop, and painted 06+ headlights. That should finish off the look. THe wheels im not a huge fan of, design isnt my type and offset is horrible. Other than that not bad

at least you stepped back and looked at your car and said "wow that actually looks really ugly and ridiculously ricey." then proceeded to change it up a bit. Look's a lot better now, but you need to get new wheels with better offset, and maybe lip or get it kitted?
And why the dual air-ducts on a non HR? Pretty pointless, now that you have an AEM CAI. Sure it's for looks, but function > form. What do you say when people ask "Hey what are these cut-outs for?"

Thanks for all the comments. But this is a work in progress and this has been what has happened in my first year. Everything that has been mentioned will be added in the coming year. Also forgot to mention that it has also been Remapped with Uprev.
I do look back on the pics and think......WTF was i doing!!! But having seen the light i am now focused on what i want to acheive
Definitely need at least 15mm spacers on the rear. The reason for the ducts on the front is to set the standard bumper apart from everyone else. I didn't like having a single duct on there so i just wanted to keep things symmetrical and i know they are doing F!ck all. I do appreciate any comment be it bad as i can take from that and improve upon

Fitment is ok. I do have an issue with the gap on either side which just seems to be too big. I thought about going for plastic on the hatch but it came down to money and the cheapest at the time was to retain the stock glass
