I wouldn't expect it to look that good with stock wheels and a nismo fb. Are you running spacers? Looks nice.

Not really a fan of that spoiler though.

Looking good for a WIP, although I would have addressed the wheels/suspension first.

Thanks! Just bought a house so wheels and suspension have taken a backseat at the moment but will not be forgotten.

How come you have an HR with the 03-05 style wheels. Or is it an aftermarket hood?

by aftermarket I mean, did you replace the old hood with an HR one?

Replaced the hood. He has 03-05 head/taillights.

I'm grateful that these pics were posted because it reminds me how horribly unattractive those base 17" 03-05 wheels were. What was Nissan thinking? Those have to me some of the worst looking stock wheels for a performance car I've ever seen.

Yes sir. Drove from VA to DE without a hood to pick it up from a fellow forum member.

I thought they were hubcaps when I was looking to buy the Z.

Forgot to add that other than the base wheels, that's a finely put together car that is coming along just fine.

I sure did. I was also crossing my fingers that I would'nt come across any cops on my trip.
