As most of you know I drove to Forged Performance to have my car tuned... Almost everyone asked me why would you drive that far to have you car tuned? I can sum it up in one word, Trust.
I trusted Forged to do the tuning. I did not have that same level of confidence in other places that were closer. So the decision was easy for me.
The entire shop was very hospitable to me, and I could not be more happy with my decision to have brought my car to them. Sharif stayed well after the shops hours to make sure all the final touches were done.
All in all after 20+ hours of driving and over 1300 miles, I made it back home in one piece.
On to the good stuff
Dyno Sheets from the Heartbreaker :P
W/Trq curve

Boost control vs Wastegate

Boost curve and Powerband

Crappy video from my phone, of one of the pulls.

Other pics from the shop..
Car on the dyno

Sharif doing work

The Shop

The Shop Sti, thing is badass makes me want one.

Alex's and the 370

Drool.

Mark's Z Project in the background.

Raj's beast in the bay next to me

Then the most friendly employee at Forged... Ceaser

Thanks bud
It was a great trip, I had a lot of fun.

Thanks again for making the trip down. For those of you that haven't seen this car in person, the body work is spectacular, and attention to detail outstanding. I am really looking forward to seeing it once the paint is done!
This is the first time I have tuned a stock block VQ35 with the BC Stage2 cams. Overall really impressed. The cams did what they should...they moved the power curve to the right for a more linear curve and power to redline. With an extended rev limit/upgraded springs, the engine would continue to make more power.
Also wanted to give credit all the people involved with the Haltech EMS. It's come such a long way over the past year, and is truly among the best in class for the VQ35.

good stuff , and congrats Danny. things are moving along nicely for you cant wait to see that sexy color on it..
And you cant expect anything less from Sharif, good stuff bro..

They havent done anything with the 350Z PnP in the past year. No inputs/output, no E85 compensation, no fuel pressure compensation, no anti-lag, no..... Its essentially a UTEC with starting params and more resolution for the vacuum cells.
Alot of credit to the tuner behind the keyboard though!
Regardless, great tune on a stock block! Danny's car is sick!
You are gonna extend your tips before you paint the car right?

Thanks bud, was nice to see your car at Forged. I am sure you are getting some top secret stuff done for z-days.

Maybe it's just me, but I'm finding the Haltech tunes more stable over time, than I am accustomed to.
I fully agree, my tune was super stable over the 2 hours I used it

Haltech is nice, its just not current. But again, not many builds really need all the options I am looking for.
Cant wait to see the finished car at Zdayz. Mine will look like the stock G35. HA
