That may be the best compliment I've ever had on the Z! Thanks, man! I've put a lot of time and money and effort into building it over the last 2 1/2 years and it is nice to finally have it finished.

I got a great deal! This house was originally $785,000 plus upgrades in 2005. The kitchen alone has over $100k in upgrades. The guy that built it never lived in it full-time. It is basically like a spec, except finished. It is exactly what we were looking for. We paid...you ready for this...$375,000! We are keeping our other home and renting it out. That one is 3435 sq ft and we paid $465,000 for it in 2005. We went from $135/ft to $70/ft in 5 years!!!

All that I really have right now are the pictures from the mls posting. I have done a lot to the house since then and it now has our furniture/decorations instead of his, but you can get the idea. Also, I put up the floorplan for you below.

OK, so here are the details and pics on the house.
5302sq ft
4 bedrooms (all upstairs, which is great for us with 3 young children)
3 1/2 bathrooms (huge)
Master suite includes: master bedroom, sitting room (will be theater room for me also), huge bathroom with snail walk-in shower, separate closets, and exercise room.
Hallway by kids rooms has 2 built-in desks for computers, homework, etc.
Kitchen is 31' X 21' with built-in viking fridge, double ovens, 2 islands, 6 burner viking range with commercial hood, butler's pantry, and more cabinets than we will know what to do with!
Automatic gate to courtyard, for kids to play in
Large back and side yards
extended 2 car garage for wife's car and kids stuff and storage
separate 1 car garage for the Z (extra deep)
Huge office downstairs

Front (we will re-do the landscaping with grass):

Enjoy. I'll post more pics this weekend, when the finish the entertainment center and office wall.

Marshall,

The house is bitchen!! Glad to see it's finally yours. My fiance's brother just signed his paperwork on his house and it took FOREVER!!

The new wheels are ballin, hopefully you kept your 20's for the pavillion nights. When's the next trip to firebird?

P.S. - You need to do a full build thread, with pics inside and out. (Of the Z of course )

Thanks everyone! I'm definitely enjoying everything about the house. I knew I loved the house when we first saw it, but I have found so many things that I love about it that I didn't even think or know about before moving in!

Thanks! I know what you mean about the timeline. I had to switch mortgage companies and extend the contract and finally got it done with the new company. I was really disappointed with the first company, as they almost made me lose the house!

Of course I still have the show wheels! I got these for the track, but they look sweet, so I use them on the street too. I will just kind of swap back and forth depending on what I'm doing. I also have a set of slicks and another set of DR's. They aren't for looks, though!

I'll probably hit Firebird or Speedworld in 2-3 weeks. I have a lot going on with the new house and with work. I will turn up the boost this time! 25PSI, here I come! I'll definitely let you know when I schedule it.

As far as a build thread, I want to get a high boost run, and new dyno chart/vid, and then I would like Intense to help me put it together.

OMG, that's very nice. And for the price, can't be beat my friend. I had an opportunity to grab one of the house with equivalent size to yours back in 2009 but since I'm single, it's super tough to do it myself.

Congrats to you, that's a safe and very successful investment. I'm so looking forward to see the finished work. Keep me posted please.

Once again, thanks for sharing.

That house is BALLIN. Awesome buy man. The Z is nice too, but that house! A house here in memphis is 7000 sq ft but its 1.8 million. I would way take your place over that one too.
