I teach Scuba Diving I do private lessons as well as help run the University of Oregon scuba program as well part time work for dive shop. Other than that I made some good investments once I got out of the military. Bought some rental property with all the money I got while deployed for a few years and just paid stuff off fast!

sweet man. I work for a real estate/investment company that specializes in REO acquisitions and if you as an investor do your due diligence and know what your doing, you can make some good money. and it seems like it paid off for you. can't wait to see your project done!

Yeah, if you make sure to research what you are investing into and get into a good deal and smart with your money you can make it back, especially in todays market. I am working on a few things now and hopefully they will pan out and get me some good income. Right now I am working on picking up a bunch of nice newer duplex since everyone is loosing homes and cant afford mortgages. So im buying these up, and renting them out for CHEAP. Enough to cover m/t/i and a lil bit to put away in case any repairs need to be done.

Thanks! I cant wait for the car to be finished either. Im getting very excited about it!

Holy crap, I just happened to view this thread and noticed all the parts. You have a nice set of parts on that thing. I would insure every single piece if you're going to race it.

I dont really think there is an insurance company out there that will insure a car if you are racing it. I could be wrong, but I just dont think that they would and if they do it must be stupid expensive...

Holy cow what an expensive race car. My budget maxes out on a beat up faded 150,000 mile miata. and that's at the top of the price range. I feel so poor.

Parts are starting to roll back in again! Should be getting the last bit of parts for the build before I start putting it all back together. So hopefully by the start of December, the car will be getting put together!
