Default new tips on the catback

these have smooth rolled edges on the tips and have a much more classier look than the old ones that are just cut stainless pipe.

Default yeah a lot of different cars this year

The last turnout there were a ton of new 350Z's, everyone wanted a new exhaust and stillen had one at the time so everyone was there. This time maybe because of the rain, i would say the turnout was about half as much as last June. Steve Millen gave tours of the factory and showed his race car and stuff like that. This year i seen the exhaust how to, but they had a brake how to and other stuff last time. They still had hot dogs and hamburgers i think this year, but it was raining so i didn't stay for any soggy buns. But still looking forward to the next one, i should have my parts in by then for a good dyno run.

I meant to say, steve millen gave tours at the last 350Z day, not this one (i don't think). Did anyone else see any other how to's during the day or tours?

Here is the pic I promised of the rear of the hood. Notice how the rear edge is so thick in the middle. I wish I would have taken a pic inside the driver seat to show you better. The hood sticks up pretty high to me also.

Here is a more typical pic that you have seen of the hood.

At first, I absolutely hated that hood. The more I see it, the more I like it. Almost seems that if you're willing to deal with Stealin' instead of ATI that they might be a better option, given the warranty and much closer relationship with Nissan.

Default Manners

My favorite part of the whole day was at the end. A Stillen employee was raffling off items using a mc and decided to wing it and say "if anyone is willing to get up here and tell a joke and make 50% of the people laugh, they will get a free set Eibach springs.

A guy gets up there and starts telling a joke and attempted to incorporate the word Stillen in the joke but by habit refered to it as "Stealin". Everyone laughed except for Stillen employees, he got the mic pulled from him right away. The next guy that got a chance with a joke made 5% of the people laugh but got the springs instead.
Hmm..interesting philosophy- A company has an open house, multiple vendors, discounts on parts, feeds you for free, dyno's cars all day for $50.00 and gives away parts in a raffle. Lets get up there and insult them when they are trying to GIVE me a set of Eibach springs.

How incredibly rude...

I have been attending their events for a number of years now and would like to see them continue...

I don't post much on this board, but that's my .02

Very nice pictures!!! Great job!!! I wish I had taken more pictures, but the rain kind of put a damper on the event. Looking forward to the next get together. Jeff

I was there, it was a slip of the tongue, he apoligized. It was funny and that is why I posted it, nothing more, dont get too worked up over it, no one else did.

I did not post it to slam Stillen. If you have read a number of my posts you would see I do give my opinion on the quality of products, vendors, and manufactures. When I do, it is because of data not cheap shots. Look at this thread for example, I gave my impression pros & cons of the hood and even mentioned that the part I did not like about the rear of the hood was my opinion and and others might like it the way it is designed.

This situation was simply funny. Many people at this site often refer to Stillen as stealin thus I am assuming it was totally a slip of the tongue which is the part that makes funny. Not everyone is a public speaker thus he was uncomfortable in front of the group with a mic.

I am a HS school teacher and my last name is Wisener. A year does not go by without someone in class refering to me as "Bud Wisener". I am sure they are not personally attacking me or my ability as a teacher. If this guy hated Stillen so much, I am sure he would not have wasted his day off driving over to look at their parts.
