Man, it's sickening to read that other post and see the pics. Coincidentally, I have seen another thread somewhere with a DB 350z that had the same crap done to it. Looked like the work of the same guy, screws and wood shims and all.

MY favorite Z on the forum. This car has gone through alot and yet still stands out among the elites. This car is the definition of what we all go through at times while following our vision. from bad advice, to sh1tty vendors, we continue to work on our car.

Not sure, but he did it all last minute. He blamed it on his workers, but really, it all comes down to him and his decisions.

Rubicant...Way back when I read the original 90+ pages of what happened to your car... I had a dream that same night that went something like.....it was happening to my car and I did a "unscheduled stop by" just to check and caught him ( I invisioned the wood screws being drilled into my side skirts). The rest of my dream was a mix of me beating him to death and then finding his car(a s14 is what I imagined) to drill into...ohh it was great. Its terrible what he did and there are plenty of body shops in the northeast that do the same and get away. I hope that idesigns is no longer in buisness, the owner is paying for his sins, and his car is treated the same way he treated yours. On a side note. Your car ended up in good hands and looks amazing. You should have a car meet and invite the guy who did the original mess of an install.
