How to fit four tires/wheels inside a 350Z
Last time when I took my four old summer wheels from one friends house to another I forgot to take pictures, but this time getting my new Blizzaks I remembered to take a few.
Two tires/wheel can be mounted vertically in the passenger seat
One tire/wheel can be fit under the rear strut bar
One tire/wheel can fit above the glove/compartment plastic thingy

Here's the rear. I fit my wheels/tire originally on the passenger side, but I found that rear visibility improved when the tire was behind me (the driver). My seat does sit far up since I am short, so the wheel fits.
Here's a pic of the tires mounted with my old Kosei S6C 17x8 38mm offset rims. This means that if you find rims that fit the old 300ZX with centering rims (inner diameter is 66mm for both 300ZX and 350Z), then you should be able to use them as rims for snow tires provided they meet the specs as posted by the DiscountTire sticky message.
EDIT: And provided the wheels can clear the brakes. The Track models may have some limitations.

Looking good! I'll probably be installing mine just after Thanksgiving. Ordered the rims today and they should be in on Monday, with tires soon to follow.

Eugene, For snows they don't look half bad. I had visions of someone mounting steel rims with hub caps. I'm glad to see you found a much better alternative. Has the ride softened with the new setup? Now what about studs for the tires?

it was supposed to be a demo car when he was done...but, he has to figure out how much space he has and how much time it would take to put into the showroom.

It might have been fun getting studdable tires, but Blizzaks have served me well for many years (I will retract that statement if I end up sliding into a ditch this winter).

I am not sure about the 19x9.5's since both the height and width of the wheel/tire combo seems to be limiting factors.
This summer I transported those 17x8 wheels with all-around 235/45/17's that were worn to the bars without problems. The front drivers seat was actually partially back, and I had used the seat belt to hold the tires in-place.
The tires that are in the pictures are 225/50/17's up front and 225/55/17's in rear. While the additional 1.5" width on the rims would lead to a 3" increase in width for the two tires in the front seat, if you angle the wheels offset then it may fit, but it might be tricky shifting gears if it gets too close.
The problem comes with the rear fitment. The rear trunk pad (accessory) plus the stock pad may be required to be removed before the wide rims with tall wheels will fit under the strut bar. This is because the wheel/tire needs to be slid under the strut bar at an initial angle. I guess we need a volunteer to test this out.
Note: I really really really miss the trunk space in my 2nd Gen Probe GT. I was able to fold down the rear and throw all four tires in the back with three laid flat and one slightly angled. *sigh*

not fun, but it can be done. one up fron instead of the spare and te other three in the cabin.
good choice of winter tires. the blizzaks are the best there is.
