After a run in the hills at first light.... (first "real" run with new running gear).

Conclusion: after all of the wheel switchups, I'm settled on my Stunes. Selling all my alternates. Watch for fire sale.

I'm surprised, those Nismo S-Tune wheels look pretty good on a z33.

Thank guys, appreciate it.

These LMZ5s are a great alternative to my favorite wheels on the car, my Track V.1s. Light, strong, and not so flashy - more OEM looking - than my polished face Volks.

But the best thing, the weight reduction back down to near what the Tracks weigh (about 20#, really light for a 19") allowed me to tune my Konis down to a more civilized setting and while getting better ride, providing increased response overall with the shocks closer to correct damping for the springs. The suspension is alive!!

And now, in response to great demand... welllllll, quicksilver asked... (Laff!)...

Don't say it. I know you think it's a paint scuff on the fascia.... It's not, it's a "character line" (like the ones on my face, ahem.)

Yeah yeah, I know, could pull the rear wheels out a bit. Have the spacers, I just hate using them.

I think it's rather funny the stuff people notice (and likewise, what I FAIL to notice ). I read all of these threads about short antennas (and other stuff about interior lights and other assorted little things on our cars I could care less about, then I kinda chuckle about 'em because I never pay attention to it).

Weird.... I'm paid by my clients to watch every little detail yet.....

Tell ya one Z33 detail I'm fascinated by that I didn't notice until just recently....

Never noticed this until earlier THIS year!! Doy.

Yeah my stock antenna actually snapped off and I disconnected the bose amp in the back so no power goes into the antenna booster thing so whatever... My awesome 350z book mentions the sweet air vents in the door. I thought it was pretty slick how theI air is funneled through the door.

Zip ties are the quintessential solution to all problems.

I got this one

Ordered it through Amazon wich some cd's and an exhaust clamp and a dog toy hopefully it doesn't show up as a bottle of Ajax... I do have a healthy collection of mocrofiber towels. I am lacking in the grit guards and grout sponge department...

We have plenty of water here in Massachusetts but I removed all my outside faucets on my house when I redid the plumbing (mostly because they ran right over my electric box and it freaked me out knowing of it leaked I would have a big mess on my hands) so my hose is split off from the washing machine and its a pain in the *** to use every time I want to wash the car.

That and I am a closet tree hugger who wouldn't mind conserving the water.

Ill pm you if I have any questions thanks..

the grit guards are nice, it keeps you from getting all the crap at the bottom of the bucket back on the cloth, and you rub the cloth against it to free the dirt from washing. the grout sponge just holds a ton of water, i use it on the lower third of my car where it is the dirtiest.

after you wash it, you can use the optimum instant detailer stuff.. really makes it shine

this thing is great.... http://www.detailedimage.com/DI-Micr...18/16-x-16-S1/
