Im just saying, the designof the te37 may be boring, but the color combo of the double pressed lap are not. I suggest you see them in person before saying theyre "boring" and "common"

For you two,
The design of the TE37s, real or fake, is a highly used wheel choice for our G/Z platforms...there's no denying that. To most, it's popular because they look great on the cars, and others, also the lightweight design of the Volks offer racing capabilities. Like most popular items, there are different variations to appease more people, hence SL/Time attack/double press. So while there are many rare sets, the design is not.
All personal preference.

Most design out there either looks crap, or has been done before. Theres only so much you can do to a wheel... every design is considered "common" when there are thousands and thousands of them sold.

But when you look at specific color, or color combo, they make it more unique. Look at the souble pressed black for example. The spokes are dark dark brown almost black, while the edge/lip are a brown gun metal mix that looks aluminum in certain lighting and gun metal in others. Then you have the hub that is almost brush aluminum in direct sunlight.

That is the reason i pulled the trigger on the double pressed black. Looks clean, yet unique at the same time. A wheel you HAVE to see in person to truely appreciate it.

I don't understand why there have been two pages of discussion when this should've just been said at the beginning. I think you all got confused on what saywat? has been trying to say, and I think that the quote is absolutely on point.

While some of the options may be rare, the design is not. They do all look the same, I see them all the time. They're great wheels, there is no denying that. saywat? has his opinion, let him have his cup of tea, and you have yours.

Onwards, gentlemen.

Wheels comes in a round shape, there is only so much you can do... name a wheel and 9.9/10 time its been done before, probably since before any of us were even borned.. the te37 isnt exactly a ground breaking design. 6 spokes nothing special.

Again, the finishing makes the wheels.
